If you are an iPhone fan, then you most probably know that the iPhone 7 has ditched the audio jack for Airpods. While this is not a bad idea, it also means you will only be able to play music in your car if it has a bluetooth. Anyways, let’s look at the iPhone 7 Overview.

Design

The iPhone 7 has not strayed too far from the design philosophy of its predecessors and the easiest way to tell the difference between the iPhone 6, 6s, and 7 is the loss of the audio jack.

As for the Audio jack loss, you have Airpods (wireless earphones) that you can use to listen to music or you can use lightening to 3.5mm audio jack converter to used your favorite headphones.

iPhone 7 comes with and IP67 rating meaning it is water resistant. With the rating, you can’t take the phone with you to swim, but you can shower with it or use it in the rain.

There’s a new home button that vibrates under your finger and has been separated from the scanner.

Display

The iPhone 7 has not strayed of the screen resolution of 720p that its predecessors have. And seriously, when I look at the fact that they are trowing away the audio jack, one would naturally expect that they at least upgrade to a 1080p screen if not a QHD. I mean all their competitors use a QHD and are add VR!!!

The iPhone 7 Plus however has a 1080P resolution as well as a screen size of 5.5 inches. Both phone models come with 3D touch technology.

The good thing however, is that iPhone users will probably not notice the difference in color resolution since they see great picture quality on the screen. As the say, the end justifies the means.

Camera

The new iPhone has but a few upgrades to the camera of the iPhone 6S. The back camera (which is now protruded) is still at 12MP. The new thing with the camera is that it has been engineered to not overwork the phone.

The camera will also give better low light photos and faster shutter speed.

The iPhone 7 Plus has a dual camera at the back just like the LG V20.

The front camera has however been improved to 7MP from 5MP.

Technology and Storage

The iPhone 7 comes with iOs 10 and I am sorry I didn’t write about this upgrade, it’s because I am not an iOs fan.

There is no more 16GB phone coming from iPhone and this is a welcome development looking at the fact that the product doesn’t feature expansion storage.

There are three storage options, 32GB, 128GB, and 256GB. The 64GB option has also been canceled.
for one this phone is the bomb
