Nokia 3310, Nokia 3, Nokia 5 & Nokia 6: Price in Nigeria & Availability
After months of speculations, leaks and rumors, HMD Global finally unveiled the newest Nokia Android phones at the Mobile World Congress. True to rumors, Nokia released an updated Nokia 3310, Nokia 3 and Nokia 5. Also, Nokia 6 which was released in China earlier this year is going to be available globally.An updated Nokia 3310
The iconic Nokia 3310 has been re-released with a color screen and new features. It comes with a rounded shape but doesn’t look exactly like the original. One of Nokia 3310’s best features was the long-lasting battery and this comes with the new version. It has a talk-time of 22 hours and standby time up to a whole month. The MP3 playback time is up to 51 hours and FM radio playback time reaches 39 hours. From the look of it, this is a basic smartphone you can rely on when it comes to staying connected.Nokia 3

As with other Android devices released, Nokia 3 comes with a pure version of Android Nougat, and HMD Global promised monthly security updates to keep the devices secure and up to date. It is priced at $147, about ₦46,000.
Nokia 5

Nokia 5 has an Aluminium unibody design with a 5.2-inch IPS LCD display. It has a 720p resolution, a 2GB RAM and it’s powered by Snapdragon 430 processor. It also comes with a 16GB storage with microSD card support. There’s a fingerprint sensor for security, an in-built 3,000mAh battery, a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera.
It also runs a pure version of Android 7.1.1. It is priced at $200, about ₦63,000.
Nokia 6

Nokia 6 was released in China earlier in January where it has been positively received. HMD Global claims Customers satisfaction on JD.com stands at 97%.
An octa-core Snapdragon 430 chipset is buried inside and Adreno 505 GPU powers the graphics. It comes with a standard 3GB RAM version and another 4GB RAM version for the Arte Black color variant. For other colors, there’s a 32GB internal storage while the Arte Black variant comes with a 64GB storage. The main camera is a 16MP shooter with PDAF and f/2.0 aperture. The selfie camera is an 8MP shooter also with f/2.0 aperture. With Dolby Atmos and dual amplifiers, the phone should pack some good sound quality.
It’s around $242, about ₦76,000.
Availability in Nigeria
According to HMD Global at the launch yesterday, all these devices will become available in Africa and Middle East by the second quarter of the year. As for the price, the direct conversion rates mentioned in the article may not necessarily be the market price. We may have to wait till April or June to actually know.source:geek.ng
