Meet Blackberry DTEK50, “The World’s Most Secure Android Smartphone”

Meet Blackberry DTEK50, “The World’s Most Secure Android Smartphone”

The rumored Blackberry Neon was finally unveiled today, and Blackberry believes this is the “world’s most secure Android phone.” Before now, the company has been said to be working on two Android devices to be released this year. It’s obvious the company made a mistake with its first Android device, and this looks like Blackberry’s chance to make a correction.
Blackberry DTEK50

Blackberry DTEK50 has moderate specifications. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor aided by Adreno 405 GPU. The device has 3GB RAM, 16GB internal storage and supports external storage up to 2TB. It comes with a 5.2-inch display and a resolution of 1080 by 1920 px.

Blackberry DTEK50 has a 2650mAh non-removable battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 2.0, a 13MP rear camera and an 8MP front shooter.
DTEK50 encrypts all user information on the phone, the device also comes with a DTEK app that monitors installed applications and alerts you when one starts behaving suspiciously.
It should be noted that this phone, unlike the Priv, is not fully developed by Blackberry. It looks a lot like Alcatel Idol 4, and as a matter of fact, it’s a rebranded version of the Idol 4 that has been modified.
