Huawei Launches Honor 6X With Dual Camera Setup
Earlier today, Huawei announced the Honor 6X mid-range smartphone at an event in China. Invitations were sent out for an October 18 event just last week.
The newly released Honor 6X is available in three variants: a 3GB RAM/32GB storage model, a 4GB RAM/32GB storage model, and a 4GB RAM/64GB storage model. There is a price tag of $148 for the 3GB variant, while the 4GB/32GB and 4GB/64GB are priced at $192 and $237 respectively.
All the internal storage options can be expanded up to 128GB with a memory card. According to the company, the smartphone will be available in Gold, Silver, Grey, Blue, and Rose Gold color variants.
The Honor 6X arrives with a 5.5-inch (1080×1920 pixels) full-HD display and Huawei’s HiSilicon Kirin 655 SoC. It features a fingerprint sensor, dual camera setup at the back, unibody metal design, VoLTE support and runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.
The dual rear camera setup is powered by a 12MP sensor with LED flash and 6P lens plus another 2MP camera sensor, while the selfie camera comes with an 8MP sensor. A 3340mAh battery with support for fast charging powers the device.
The smartphone is already available for pre-order in China and will start shipping on November 25. There are no details regarding when it will be available in other countries.
